Commissions

The Project Group is a Community Interest Company and earns income through the design and creation of public art commissions.  We have worked on numerous commissions within Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, the Wirral and London.

When working on commissions our members are involved in the process from the start and form the most important part of the project team.  They get involved in the design and planning, and most importantly, the making of the final piece.  We work closely with the commissioner from the outset.  Practical workshops for the beneficiaries, assisted and led by our members, often form part of our work on a commission.

Over the years we have gained a lot of experience in helping our commissioners to raise funds in order to make a project happen.

We have experience in a wide range of materials, including fused glass, textiles, ceramics, plastics, and wood, and are always looking for a new challenge.
